Is The Blackberry Curve Worth Buying?

Blackberry has made a name for itself as a company that delivers consistent quality with its hand-held devices. The Blackberry Curve is one phone that will definitely not be excluded from their long line of outstanding business solutions. They have included an enhanced multimedia software package to make traveling with your favorite pictures, songs, and videos even easier. They also provide the ability to take brilliant two megapixel images with the on-board camera. The battery life too, is better than ever before.

The compact, attractive design is sure to please, and the 320×240 pixel resolution on the 2.5″ display will enable you to easily read everything from the news to your emails. Additionally, you get a normal 3.5mm headphone jack, a push-to-talk button on the side, and a USB port. The buttons and switches are all in the places that you would expect them to be, and after an hour of using it you will easily be able to operate it one-handed.

Exceptional playback multimedia features give the Curve a flawless operation, sporting a huge assortment of visual files like WMV, H.263, and MPEG-4, along with multiple audio capacities like MP3, AAC, and WMA. This device is fully capable of delivering full color prints as big as 4×6! And if you think these features are awesome, just wait until you try the Blackberry Curve for email purposes. Sending and receiving emails has never been easier! Not to mention, you can even sync multiple email accounts simultaneously. This latest smart phone is clearly ahead of its time, and has even outdone itself – literally surpassing previous Blackberry models!

Online surfing is a breeze, too, with functionality much higher than standard cell phones. Opening and navigating webpages is very simple. Giving you four consecutive hours of nonstop verbal communication, and an impressive four full days of normal usage, the Blackberry Curve’s battery life is clearly superior to many other smart phones out there nowadays. Sound clarity during your phone calls is very crisp and reliable, as well, (although a higher volume capacity would have improved this even more).

While the Blackberry Curve does not really compete with the HTC Desire or iPhone 4, as those are far more expensive, this is a decent rival for the Samsung Wave, the LG Optimus or other such phones in that price range. It might not be the best, but neither is it lacking in cool features – you can get fantastic email connectivity, long battery life and a fantastic camera. You would be hard pressed to find a better phone than the Blackberry Curve for the cost.
