The i-phone has done really well for itself

The iPhone seems to be selling more and more by the day, but just why is this? It helps that the ipod is there but the reason it sells is because of all of the technology crammed inside.

One of the things that attracted me to the product is the fact that it was a combination of a phone and an ipod. One of the good things about the App store is that it is every changing and always growing, part of the reason Apple have made so much money from it.

{Recently 02’s exclusive two year contract with Apple has run out and Vodaphone as well as Orange have both stepped in to snap up deals with them}. Both of these major companies are to start selling the phone next year. Would someone really hold back on getting the phone simply because 02 are the providers, not likely but now there is likely to be a price war? If a company has been really good to you before then chances are you will not change and switch to another.

There is one other thing that comes to mind when thinking of the iPhone and that is the costs. The cost of the phone itself isn’t cheap and can be even worse if it breaks and you do not have something like Gadget Insurance. The problem with insurance is that it costs a lot of money and just sits there until you need it and even then you may never use it. The thing is, everyone drops their phones at some stage, just what happens if it is not on a soft surface. Personally I have dropped mine about five times and it has managed to survive so it is possible not to have insurance although I would reccomend it.

Of course there are insurance policies available for a number of things from PDA insurance as well as the obvious iPhone insurance. Insurance in the long run could benefit you as gadgets are very expensive to actually replace.
